The Gun Store was founded in 2017 by two friends and military veterans. The idea was to bring quality firearms and training to Memphis and the Hickory Hill neighborhood. The store opened February 3rd, 2018. Since opening, the store has grown exponentially by embracing local law enforcement, first responders and civilian customers. The store has over 300 firearms in inventory and adds more every day. There is also a large assortment of soft goods such as tactical gear, ammunition, holsters and women’s accessories. If we do not have it in stock we will search our many distributors for the item you need and gladly order it for you.

The Gun Store also is home to The Gun School, where beginner gun orientation classes and concealed carry classes are taught. The required materials from the state of Tennessee are taught to perspective concealed carry applicants with the highest considerations given towards gun safety and deep understanding of the laws around the carry of firearms. The Gun School has many instructors that range in experience from current law enforcement, prior service military, life long gun enthusiasts and a practicing attorney. Classes are given at the store location and the shooting portion of the classes happen at nearby ranges. We look forward to expanding our class offerings as time goes by and there is customer demand.
